Passion for Baking
I love to bake and have been working on my techniques since I was a youngster with my Easy-Bake Oven. It may not have been a real oven but I sure came up with some clever creations. As I got older, edible gift giving to family, friends and neighbors became a cherished family tradition. And our Shortbread cookies were always the most highly requested treat.
Family and traditions are important to me. Some of my earliest and fondest family memories are enjoying the The Flower Fields® every spring with my parents. It was always followed by a stroll in the Village and lunch by the sea at the Harbor Fish House — it just didn’t get any better than that!
More recently I enjoyed an 18-year career within the Wine & Spirits industry. I had a lot of opportunities along the way, but I found my passion for creative expression through pairing wine with food. Working alongside some of our most notable chefs I was captured by their talents and commitment to their craft. Being a true pastry chef at heart, I came to the realization that devoting myself full-time to my passion of baking would take me on my most rewarding journey of all.
This fusion of my interests led to the development of our savory shortbread cookie collections that pair beautifully with still wine, sparkling wines and even whiskey! Pairing wine & spirits with food, is more of an art than a science and one I thoroughly enjoy.

I live in beautiful Carlsbad, CA where our climate provides an unparalleled agricultural landscape for producing locally grown harvests. I’m proud to support our local farmers and committed to utilizing only the finest local, sustainable and organic ingredients.
